Discipline & Code Of Conduct
General Discipline
Students are expected to:
– Be punctual and regular to classes.
– Attend all classes during working hours.
– Maintain discipline both inside and outside the campus.
– Avoid loitering in and around the campus before or after college hours.
Any student violating institutional rules will be subject to strict disciplinary action, including suspension or, in serious cases, expulsion from the institution. While the institution always works in the best interest of students, no compromise will be made in matters of discipline and decorum.
The college places immense trust and faith in its students and expects them to use the freedom and opportunities provided responsibly.
For the safety, security, and well-being of students and staff, CCTV surveillance is installed across the campus.
Mobile Phone Policy:
Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the college campus under all circumstances.
Bringing mobile phones or any electronic gadgets to the campus, or depositing them in nearby shops, will be treated as a punishable offence.
If a mobile phone is confiscated:
– It will not be returned under any circumstances.
– A penalty of Rs. 5,000/- will be imposed.
– Parents will be informed immediately.
Vehicle Policy:
Students are strictly prohibited from bringing personal vehicles to the college campus.
As per law, students below 18 years of age riding bikes or driving cars without a valid licence are committing a punishable offence. Any such violation will invite strict disciplinary action, and parents will be informed accordingly.
Anti-Ragging Policy:
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and considered a serious offence
Any student found involved in ragging activities will face stringent disciplinary action. The management reserves the right to seek legal assistance and initiate appropriate legal proceedings if necessary.
Behaviour & Campus Etiquette:
Students are expected to maintain respectful and courteous behaviour at all times.
– Respect teachers, staff members, and fellow students.
– Greet teachers whenever you meet them.
– Use polite and respectful language.
– As far as possible, communicate in English to develop effective communication skills.
– Foul language and misbehaviour will not be tolerated.
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
– Writing on walls or desks
– Damaging college property
– Creating nuisance or disturbance
– Moving unnecessarily towards other classrooms
Dress Code & Grooming:
Students must strictly adhere to the prescribed uniform pattern. No alterations or modifications to the uniform are permitted.
– Improper or indecent dressing and inappropriate footwear are strictly prohibited inside the campus.
– Students must maintain neat and decent grooming.
Guidelines include:
– Haircuts should be neat and decent.
– Nails should be trimmed regularly.
– Hair colouring and fashionable styling are not permitted.
Leave & Attendance Policy:
Students are advised to avail leave only with prior permission.
– For short leave, students must submit a leave letter to the Class Coordinator.
– For leave exceeding two days, a leave letter signed by the parent must be submitted to the Principal.
Maintaining a minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for both First PU and Second PU students.
Students taking long leave without prior intimation must report to the Principal along with their parents. Such students will not be permitted to attend classes without proper explanation from both the student and the parent.
Identity Card
Wearing the College Identity Card inside the campus is compulsory after issuance.
Students without ID cards will not be permitted to enter the campus.
Vacation & Reopening:
Students are expected to report to the college on time after vacations.
Requests for extension of holidays will not be entertained.
Office & Administrative Matters:
For document submission, fee enquiries, certificates, office formalities, and related matters, students and parents are requested to contact the College Office during working hours.
